Celebrating MK DAD

We had a fantastic day together celebrating Milton Keynes Disability Awareness Day

or MK DAD this weekend, 16^th July.

It was great to share the fun not just with our friends from Camphill but with our friends from across Milton Keynes like MK Snap and Macintyre.

MK DAD aims to celebrate and raise awareness of the enormous talents and strengths of people with disabilities and the value they bring to our society.

The theme of this years’ event invites was to ‘Look Beyond Disability’.

The event is supported by ourselves, The MK Community Foundation, The Parks Trust, MK Council, MacIntyre MK, MK DONS SET, MK Arts for Health, MK Snap, Milton Keynes Cenotaph Trust and MKCil.

There was lots to see and do with an art exhibition, stalls, dance, music, performances, sports, archery and much more.
